 A poster designed for a local electronic music event and charity drive - the event name ‘Redame’ means “to love in return”, and has roots in queer culture.

My design took inspiration from artwork linking back to an old dance label, Moving Shadow, specifically their drawing of a dancing figure, that evokes joy, movement and the feeling of losing yourself in the music. Handwritten fonts fit the painterly, sketched quality of the key art.

Redame is all about community, celebrating LGBT+ folk and giving back while doing so, and I wanted the key art to reflect this by iterating on the aforementioned design to include multiple people. Within their dancing and embrace is a small but potent flame being nurtured.
