Video Installation
A triptych of videographic self portraits taken and then reprojected. Projecting the video allows the viewer to both experience the footage and have create a physical dialogue with the medium by covering parts of the projection.

The lighting was acheived by shooting using natural light that bled through my apartment at a very specific time of day, filtering through trees, blinds and glass objects inside.

Mixed Media Installation
An exploration of the messy nature and extraneous qualities of ARI's contrasted with the unattainable perfect ‘white cube’ gallery space. Absurdist sculptural installations contained common ARI furnishings with flaws and imperfections comically exaggerated.

Photographs of the idealized versions of each sculpture were placed in the surrounding space to display the contrast between each and draw further attention to the imperfections of the present space.
Exhibited at the Curtin SODA Grad Show and blending in with the ‘real’ features inhabiting the painting gallery.

No cockroaches were harmed in the making of this work.

Pine & Carpet
This project examined the manipulation and subversion of patron movement within gallery space using sculptural installation, culminating in a site-specific intervention of Curtin's own Tangent Gallery, a hallway space with a subtle, but noticeable descending slope.

Works were created using materials, contexts and tropes found in an art gallery and when installing artworks, down to the same brand of dull grey carpeting. This work exists as a 'camouflaged' carpet variant, and a taped plinth variant; each coming with their own safety concerns.

Field recordings of spaces transposed into physical objects, making the transient in to something more permanent, visible and physical.
